Backpacking around Himachal is always fun. I am always very much fascinated by different cultures of the mountains. When I was living there I learnt all the possible things that I can, like the language, their folk songs and dance that they call naati.
I remember sharing with my sister that how I've lost all my flexibility I had when I was into dancing, I learned contemporary dancing for about 6 years but had to stop because of some injury at the age of 17. And when I joined college I started dancing again but just for some competitions once in a while and afterwards when I started working full time I hardly had time to practice or perform my dance form. But then, when lockdown started and everybody started working out at their houses I realized no other time can be better than this to start over. I started doing Pilates, yoga and most importantly dance. I made some promises to myself to achieve my flexibility back or even half of it. Now looking at where I've reached is really motivating me to achieve more. I feel proud of myself when I see me doing things I thought I might not be able to do again.
