My Sport is Football ⚽🏃
I started at the age of 12yrs !!
It was because of one man who inspired me to play the sport i.e RONALDO - the goal machine of Brazil 🏆💪

I was always cricket passionate since my childhood, when ever I used to get time I always prefer to play Cricket with my friends.
Cycling was never been my love through out my childhood, I used to use Cycle only to commute to Schools.
But today Cycle has become my love, I practice twice in a week, I do MTD Rides and Road Cycling.
I have Rockrider 5.3 and Triban 540.
I prefer Night Rides than the Morning Rides.
It was in my 8th grade as a fat kid that I got laughed at. There was to be a cross country race for districts that I decided I would participate in. I practiced post school and in the early mornings despite the fact that animals lurked in the forest where my house was located at the time. Unbelievably, my practice paid off, I won the race. I got selected for coaching camp for the state meet and I won individuals for Karnataka, being the first for my school. For the first time, Team Karnataka won a bronze in women 4*100 relay nationals. It was a moment of pride indeed!
Due to an ardent stress to pursue my education and forget sport, I was put in a college with no athletic tracks. I took the opportunity to start a college athletics team, called ourselves "No playground athletes" and ran about in football court, sometimes working out on the basketball bleachers and sometimes even in the throw ball court! Some of us got selected for All India Athletics meet and running besides legends like Tintu Luka etc was a fortunate situation.
Besides this, seeing a few good players in Handball, Hockey despite having no proper grounds, courts to play, a team was formed for both sports and we went on to become university winners. When my dad showed his Men's Hockey cup for zonal level under his captaincy in a university, I took a vow to get a women's cup as well. And it all paid off! Now our university Officially has a hockey, handball and athletics team and all sure for sport. I suffered from the drawbacks of a ligament tear for a year but that did not stop me from realising my dreams to pursue my sport passionately!
Very soon recovering from a ligament tear, being 3rd in TCS 10k for Decathlon, this is a start and I aim to make a strong running community in Koramangala, Bangalore!
I have 2 sports that I am really passionate about.
Cycling: I have been working in Decathlon since almost 2 years, and this organisation has introduces me to a lot of sports. But this is one of the best. I started my journey in Pune as a sport leader for Badminton (which I used to practice a lot at that time). In decathlon while working for Badminton, I was introduced to Weekend community rides by Bipin & Gurpreet who were the sport leaders for cycling at that time. I still remember my first ride was 30K on a Rockrider MTB. I couldn't come to work that day. All of you cyclists would understand why. It was my first ride and "you know what" hurted like hell. Nevertheless this first ride got me into cycling. I was the most excited for the next weekend ride and the next 5 days flew by in anticipation.
I have come a long long way in two years now. Still working in Decathlon as a Sport Leader for Cycling (Doing what I love). Now I try to get more people to cycling and try to give them their first 30K.
I recently completed 160K on my road bike, and this time I could go to work after the 160K :P
Football remains the love of my life. Just like no one forgets their first love, I can never stop playing football. I have been playing it since the time i remember. It's such a beautiful game.
Football like meditation to me, I tend to forget about the world when I am playing.
I just have so many memories attached with this sport. Midnight football on the streets with a few friends, school ground with 50 people, 25 in a team. Competitive football at district tournament to playing with strangers.
This is one of the most powerful sport and over the years has united millions of people together atround the world.
Like everyone else , i too have multiple sports and bit of athletics too . My favorite sport is Football , passion sport is Bodybuilding , Sport that i spent most time on is cricket , sport i played for fun is athletics . Just sharing the road-map of each or answering the second part of the question ;
I love Travelling (Trekking,Hiking and Backpacking) and Cycling too.
I always wanted to explore the unexplored places, Born in Kerala which was my childhood playground in the beginning. I stay 40km away from waynad started exploring the Western Ghats mostly its hills which the elevations are around 2500mtr which are Chembra peak,Banasura hills etc.
2016 I did my first Himalayan Trek in Hampta pass that was my first ever Trek I did and it was solo journey after Hampta pass trek I was backpacking around Himachal, Met alot of people who are same minded then later in
2017 was Himachal again which I did cycling to Solang Valley then Rothang pass,Sarchu pass,Baralalachla pass (15000ft),Spiti,Nako,Tabo
This was my highest elevation gained! Was scared in the beginning of altitude sickness but there was no such issues I faced. Another milestone I reached!
2018 was more of backpacking in South India. Waynad,Ooty,Munnar,Kodaikenal,Gokarna and Hampi
2019 i did Kedarkantha Trek and Gorson bugyal trek in Uttarakhand. Backpacking in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Skiing from Auli

Like everybody else, I started Cycling in childhood but eventually, I started to ride with a purpose. Right after I'd finished school and was looking forward to my graduation, I had a few months of free time in between which I wanted to utilize by doing something for my fitness. I started with running for about a month post which I wasn't enjoying it as much. At the same time, I bought a cycle for myself for commuting. I decided to go on morning rides starting from 10-20km and gradually moved up to 50-60km. I really enjoyed riding my bike and exploring new places along with being fit.
I realized that this is something I can do all the time and took up cycling as a regular sport.
My sport is cycling. its not just a sport for me it is like a part of my life, it starts from my childhood itself and still i didn't stopped it and am sure that i cant stop it till the end of my life. I started cycling inspired my brother because he use to stund with cycles and ride so fast in it with me sitting behind it .The first bike i brought was a BSA champ which was a 16 inch one and then i changed a lot of bikes and now am using Rockrider 520 with which i use to commute as well use to tour.
FOR ME CYCLING IS EVERY THING
Ever since I was a little girl I have always been close to dance. DANCE is and has always been my Passion. Maybe it’s the control of the dancer’s body to execute each move flawlessly that delights me? Or it could be the look on the dancers’ face that says they’re loving what they’re doing? Either way, I absolutely love dance. Dance brings so much joy in life. My competence in dance has helped me grow my confidence. Decathlon helped me to see Dance as a sport and not just an Art. It introduced me to Dance Fitness. It makes losing calories a fun session.
If I have to name other sport apart from dance which gives me immense joy is SWIMMING. I love water and I can be in the water for hours. Swimming is extremely relaxing. I love the feeling of floating on the water and feeling almost weightless.
I also am a passionate SPRINTER. Ever since 4th grade of School I have had a huge passion for competitive sports. Excelling as an athlete since my school days and being a part of track and field events has provided me with intense felicity over the years.
Currently, obsessing over new sports like Pilates, Football and Table Tennis which I have started exploring with my fellow teammates.
Boxing, wrestling, trekking hiking and back packing
My sport was boxing and wrestling long time ago and won state level championships in 2009-2010. Then when i was studying in ooty (tamil nadu) i got attached with nature and start exploring the mountains and forests over there. So i started loving the beauty of nature and the fresh air which refreshes me. So i started doing trekking hiking and backpacking. While doing trekking and hiking i learnt more about nature and made me understand how the nature and human are connected. It also made me feel energetic and refreshed in my life and i always love the climbs, risks, decisions and the fun during the treks😊
I like to swim and play badminton. My interest towards playing sports has all started with my dad. He is extremely active person and always love to be fit. He used to wake me up every morning early in the 5 and ask me and my brother to get ready for the fitness training and play badminton. Weekly twice I used to go for my swimming classes.
Although waking up early at 5 am is my least favorite thing in the world, I was left with no choice. But, now I feel great about myself playing sports and thanks to my dad who encouraged or may be forced to be active and to participate in physical activities at the beginning itself. Now, participating in these two activities has become my habit and hobby which I love the most.
I am someone who was a jack of all...master of none till 17 years of age. Then one day while waiting for my table tennis turn in the college gymkhana, my seniors insulted me saying that, "Heyy, you belong to the juniors table!! YOU PLAY OVER THERE!! (However, I had already become a champ of juniors table and considered myself promoted on the senior one). I denied to go there and he further insulted me did not let me play.
THEN I decided, ''I will teach these guys a lesson''. The very next month I joined the nearby Table Tennis club, used to practice on an average 8 hours a day and took my game from beginner to pro in just 3 months.
Now 6 months later after the previous insult incidence, I met this ex-senior in the gymkhana. This guy got defeated by me 21-6 and all time he was open mouthed and then later appreciated for the transforming change in my game.
Since then, there was never looking back. I starting competing in district, state, club and inter college tournaments and started acing in them.
Initially, being a jack of all sports, I decided I should pursue my competency in Table Tennis. It has been 8 years attached with this lovely and addictive sport and will be the same throughout my life
After my B.E, I wanted to pursue my career in sports and that's when I found Decathlon and eventually became the sport leader for Table Tennis. Since, 3 years I am helping Decathlon making Table Tennis accessible to the Mumbai users.
THAT'S MY SHORT, SWEET AND TINY STORY!! Hopefully a book to be written ahead in the next few years :D
I started it when I was in 2nd standard. My school had swimming pool. We used to have swimming classes. I found it to be very interesting. Next year I joined the summer camp. Soon I became a good swimmer.
