In Martial Arts we basically condition body to make sure that we use our body parts as weapon. Bones get strong, Skin becomes kinda leather. So that whenever we strike we maje sure it's minimal movement with maximum destruction. Such strikes includes punches, kicks so we do condition fists especially knuckles which is imp part and leg again feet'. So that we don't end up hurting ourself while hitting. Also if we are attacked we can resist the blow.
